Works great, fast delivery

Bought LogMeIn Pro. Downloaded easily. Remote access worked right away for my Mac and PC. No issues with connecting or file transfers. Happy with it.

Reliable remote access

Another year, another renewal of LogMeIn Pro. I've been using this service for my small business for years now, mostly for unattended access to client machines. It just works, every time. The interface is familiar, and I rarely run into issues. It's consistent, which is exactly what I need. Their pricing for annual billing has been pretty stable.

Mostly solid, slight hiccup

I purchased LogMeIn Central for our small IT team. The remote monitoring and patch management features are very useful, saving us a lot of time. Setup was straightforward, and it's been pretty stable. My only minor gripe was during initial deployment; one of the client installs on an older Windows machine took a bit longer than expected to connect. Support documentation helped eventually, but it wasn't instant. Still, good value for the features.

Excellent for IT management

I recently signed up for LogMeIn Central to manage a fleet of remote computers. The initial setup process was intuitive, guiding me through installing agents on multiple endpoints. I was particularly impressed with the patch management capabilities; I could schedule updates for all machines during off-hours, which really streamlined our maintenance. The remote diagnostic tools also came in handy for troubleshooting a persistent software issue on a client's laptop without needing physical access. File transfer was quick, and the multi-monitor display support made working across different setups seamless. Their support team was responsive when I had a question about customizing a security report. Overall, a very robust solution.

Good for quick fixes

Needed to help my mom with her computer, so I grabbed a LogMeIn Pro subscription for a month. It was pretty easy to set up on both ends, and I got her sorted without too much fuss. Screen sharing worked well, even with her slow internet. It felt pretty smooth overall. Worth it for what I needed.

Is LogMeIn still a separate thing or is it all under GoTo now? I keep seeing both names and it's a little confusing.

A Amber R. 2 months ago
Yeah, they rebranded. It's all GoTo now, but LogMeIn is still the name for some of their products.

D Dan Lindqvist 2 months ago
Basically, GoTo owns LogMeIn. So when you see LogMeIn, it's a GoTo product. The company changed its name from LogMeIn Inc. to GoTo in 2022 if I remember right.

Thinking about getting LogMeIn for my small business. What's the deal with pricing? Is it always monthly or can you get a better deal annually?

T Tara 1 month ago
Definitely go annual if you can. You save a good chunk, like 15-20% usually.

T Todd M. 1 month ago
They push the annual pretty hard. I got about 20% off last year signing up for a full year instead of monthly payments. Worth it if you know you'll use it.

I heard something about a free trial. Is that still a thing for LogMeIn Pro?

E Emma 2 months ago
Yep, 14-day free trial is standard for Pro. Good way to test it out.

Can confirm, I used the 14-day trial for Pro before committing. No credit card needed either, which was nice.

How does LogMeIn Pro compare to TeamViewer? I've used TeamViewer for years but open to switching if LogMeIn is better for unattended access.

J Jared Ito 2 months ago
LogMeIn is pretty solid for unattended, I use it for all my client machines. TeamViewer got a bit pricey for my needs.

B Brett 2 months ago
I've used both. LogMeIn Pro feels a bit more robust for IT management stuff, especially if you're dealing with a lot of endpoints. TeamViewer is good for quick, ad-hoc support though.

Anyone know if they do Black Friday sales? I'm looking to get a few licenses but can wait a bit if there's a good discount coming.

C Cody 1 month ago
They usually do. Black Friday and Cyber Monday are big for software like this.

I've seen them have promotions around those times, yeah. Also end of year, like around December. Probably worth holding off if you're not in a super rush.

Are promo codes ever available? Or is it mostly just the free trial and annual discount stuff?

E Emma 2 months ago
Promo codes are super rare, honestly. Mostly for new users or specific campaigns.

C Chris L. 2 months ago
Nah, don't count on promo codes. Your best bet for a discount is the annual billing or looking out for seasonal promotions like Black Friday. They don't do regular coupon codes much.

What's the difference between LogMeIn Pro and Central? I'm just looking for remote access but want to know if Central offers something I might need later.

A Andre 1 month ago
Pro is more for individual or small teams needing remote access. Central is for managing a whole bunch of computers, like for IT pros.
2
L Laura 1 month ago
Pro is simpler, just lets you get to your machines. Central has all the IT management bells and whistles – patching, monitoring, asset management, that kind of stuff. If you just need remote desktop, Pro is probably fine.

If I buy a LogMeIn Pro license, how many computers can I actually access with it? Is it just one or multiple?

A Andre 1 month ago
It depends on your plan. The basic Pro plans usually let you access a certain number of computers.
3
T Todd L. 1 month ago
You pick a tier based on how many computers you need to access. So if you need 5, you get the 5-computer plan. It's not unlimited with a single license, afaik.
